Batesville City Attorney

Batesville is governed by a Mayor and eight City Council members, each representing a Ward. The Mayor serves a four-year term and Council serve two-year terms. The Mayor and Council oversee city departments which are managed by Supervisors who are appointed by the Mayor.

 City Attorney Lindsey Castleberry is a graduate of Batesville High School and the University of Arkansas.  After receiving a bachelor's degree in business administration, Castleberry earned his law degree from the University of Arkanas School of Law.  He has worked as an attorney in Batesville since 2007 and operates a private practice located at 245 S. Third Street.  He is licensed in the State of Arkansas and the United States District Courts of Arkansas.  His wife, Deann Castleberry, is also a graduate of Batesville High School and the University of Arkansas.
